Hey there - my name is Cerys and I create content about "the lazy girls' guide to self-acceptance, self-care & empowerment".
Making friends as an adult compared to when you’re a child are two completely different experiences. As a child I remember so many situations where one child would go up to another, announce that they were now friends and that was that – friendship created! I’m not so sure that this would go down as well as an adult…
It’s always been my dream to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world. Each park has its own amazing experiences, food and Disney goodness and I would just love to see it all (a girl can dream right?). So, I thought I would write down my bucket list and put it out into the universe.
When it comes to work, I’m always super organised. I work as a receptionist in a youth club and always bring in my own notebook to write pretty much everything down. My colleagues find it funny, but it’s come in handy when we all forget any passwords or other important notes😂 I have terrible memory, so if I didn’t write things down I would never get anything done or remember to pass on messages to the right people😂
If you’ve been reading my blog/following me on Instagram for a while, you may know that I am a big fan of a movie night. I love being cosy and, for me, movie nights are one of the cosiest things. When I’m needing self-care, I love getting wrapped up and losing myself in a good film or series.
There are various reasons why we sometimes just need that extra bit of self-care. During your period is a great time do to it as your body is wanting to take it slow and to just get through it. Realistically, we can’t take the whole week off every time we have a period (although sometimes I would love to). But that doesn’t mean that we have to sit and suffer while we go about our everyday lives.
If you know me, then you’ll likely know that I talk about boobs a lot. I’ve struggled with body confidence throughout my life and always had such a negative view of most of my body. However, I’ve pretty much always loved my boobs🧡 Whether you have big boobs, small boobs, perky boobs saggy boobs – whatever your boobs are like they’re great! And I’m yet to find anyone that disagrees😂
Growing up I always felt like being married was the end goal. The majority of adults around me were divorcees or single – but I seemed to have ignored this and focussed on the happy relationships in TV shows, films and in magazines. These all seemed to suggest that the only way to be happy was to be with someone else. In this post I talk about the importance of your relationship with yourself.

We all want balance in our lives, and that’s determined by how we use our time. Today I share my Top 5 Time Management Tips to help you prioritise and achieve balance in the different seasons of your life.
FOMO or the Fear of Missing Out is defined as social anxiety stemmed from the belief that others might be having fun while you are not present. It is usually attributed to social media, and in better, less stressful times has to do with wanting to live a life as happening as everyone else’s seems. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic though, what I am talking about is very different but is still, per se, fear of missing out. This unprecedented circumstance has brought with itself a myriad of fears and anxieties that all sit and chitchat under the “FOMO” umbrella.
Looking back at my journey of finding comfort in my introversion, as I turn a year older.

Repurposing is a blogger’s secret weapon. Especially if you’ve been blogging for a long time. Think about it: if you write a blog post that’s 1,500 words, full of tips, encouragement, inspiration … that’s a lot of content sitting right there. It would be wasteful to keep it in just one form, on one platform. The trouble comes, however, when you start to look at repurposing your content. Which parts of your blog posts should you pull out front and centre? What images should you use? Where do you even put all your repurposed content? Let’s take a look!
