Cheers to my first blog post of 2022. In this post I talk about a few changes I need to make this year and why. I've been the same person for a while now and I guess it's because I felt like changing made me feel like I was giving others control. When in reality not changing has actually given them the control. If people know you'l always be do the same things, react that same way, have the same plans, just be the same ole same ole you, they'll never change towards you. I know it'll take time and rushing the process won't get me the results I'm looking for. But I have every intention to make these changes. I'd greatly appreciate any positive comments on my blog or here and please comment, like, share, and/or subscribe.
Life has been lifin’ & I haven’t had much time for anything that I want to do. Whether it’s blogging, creating new pieces for my jewelry business, reading or just laying around. It hasn’t been hard but different. My household is going through numerous transitions at once and I’m simply praying daily that we all get on board and things start to flow as smooth as possible. In this blog post I am giving you an update on my life as of lately. I’m thinking this will become a regular thing but not every single month. This is probably one of the shortest blog post I’ve ever written if not the shortest, but I hope you enjoy it either way.
Parenting is one of many very sensitive topics for me. I always find that I’m judged by parents who swear they did no wrong & “the best they could” by their children when it’s really the complete opposite. I know this b/c I know their children so I know how they were affected & how the way they grew up now affects their parenting &/or relationships in general. In this post I talk about how my decision making has had me questioning if I’m a bad parent or not. Some of that feeling also comes from the opinions of others on how I choose to parent. I’ve been a mother for five years now & it honestly hasn’t gotten any easier for me. I’m ALWAYS going to be learning who each of my children are, what they need, how to tend to them & their emotions, etc. It’s not easy but that doesn’t stop the opinions from rolling in. When you read this post I hope that it helps ease some of what you may have been feeling as a parent. I also hope that it opens your eyes to other things. The opinions will never stop but what matters is you feeling confident in your decisions when it comes to your children.
Every child is different, I know, but I never thought I'd be dealing with any of this. The most I've ever dealt with was postpartum depression & this isn't that, not even close. In this blog post I begin to take you through my postpartum journey with my third child. I'm not sure why each time I have a child I seem to get worse but I do. The reward of being able to carry then see my child is great. However, the changes my body later experiences is absolutely terrifying.
This blog post is about the difficulties I've faced with supporting others while getting little to none. From my blog to my (small) business, have a read to see if you can relate or take something from this blog post.
"There's no way we'll ever beat the algorithm if we have to base everything we post and when we posy it off if what works best for everybody else. It takes the natural feel out of things when scheduling is involved because I start to feel like I have to post something even when I have nothing to post." In this post I'm talking about the difficulties I (emphasis on "I") have as a content creator. I know I'm not even close to the only one facing [these] difficulties when it comes to this so I hope you enjoy my blog post.
